Do not worry. As I said, you can freely uninstall old version and download a new version from Nexus. All I can say is: Nexus never delete or remove any mod from its directory. As a matter of fact, during the deinstallation you will got a box in which they say that you can freely uninstall present version without loosing data. While I'm here might as well try n help, that folder has to be somewhere on your pc cause I think that's where nexus's user options are stored. So if you used nexus it's somewhere, so try searching your entire computer for the folder name. As for moving on from NMM that seems like quit a ways Download a mod you want to install either manually or through NMM. (Follow this tutorial if you don't know how to download mods) NMM-Installation: First make sure NMM (Nexus Mod Manager) is installed.
